an "oldie"

the journal of Michael Werneburg

twenty-eight years and a million words

Toronto, 2013.11.17

I was in a store this week when an old song came on. Something from the 80's when I was maybe thirteen or so, overproduced and not particularly memorable (certainly not the best the band produced). I said to the cashier, "I never thought I'd hear this song again."
